Speaking at the event to announce the program, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Tran Quoc Phuong shared that Vietnam's innovation ecosystem is entering a critical development stage, requiring more invest and in-depth support to be able to develop innovative start-ups and form a team of high-quality and international human resources.

The two programs launched today will help bridge the digital divide by providing more learning and development opportunities for talent and startups in Vietnam.

In particular, Google will cooperate with NIC to offer 20,000 scholarships to students from more than 40 universities and vocational schools in Vietnam who have a passion for information technology but limited access.
