On the morning of November 22, 2022, in Ho Chi Minh City, the National Innovation Center (NIC) - Ministry of Planning and Investment held a seminar "Promoting innovation in smart city development". in Viet Nam".
The seminar was attended by Mr. Do Tien Thinh - Deputy Director of the National Innovation Center; representatives of departments, agencies and sectors of the city. Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong province, Tien Giang province, Dong Nai province ... with many leading experts, businesses and corporations in the field of smart cities at home and abroad such as Mr. Duong Cong Duc - Director of Urban Center Smart Marketing, Viettel Military Industry and Telecommunications Group; Mr. Aik Hock NG – Public Sector Manager, Asia Pacific South, Dassault Systèmes Technology Group; Mr. Trinh Cong Duy - Founder of Bizverse; Mr. Stéphane LAVAUD – CEO of Neotiq (France).
At the seminar, many technology solutions and suggestions on smart city models were introduced along with successful examples of smart city development in some localities of Vietnam and other countries. such as France, Singapore... Besides, the conference is a connecting space between state management agencies and businesses with solutions in the field of smart cities.
Closing the workshop, Mr. Do Tien Thinh, Deputy Director of the National Innovation Center said that NIC is currently initially carrying out activities to raise awareness and connect supply - demand to solve problems. urban development in the most creative and cost-effective way.
